Adult Discipleship
We, as Christians, are always striving to grow in our knowledge of God so that we may live a life more closely related to Him and the teachings of Jesus Christ. Through Discipleship, whether in small groups, corporate worship, or individually, we experience the presence of God in our lives. You are invited to explore one of the many opportunities for growth at FUMC.
Sunday School
Thirteen small groups are offered every Sunday morning from 9:45 - 10:45 am for adults of all ages to come together and explore the Bible and relate God's teachings to our everyday lives.
Wednesday Night Activities
Wednesday Nights are a mid-week growing opportunity for all ages. The evening begins from 5:30 - 6:30 with a meal (Adults: $6.00, Youth: $5, Children: $4.00, take out meals are $7 & Leftover containers are $1). Programming for children and adults begins at 6:30. Adults are given choices of classes throughout the year ranging from studying popular books to Bible studies to arts/crafts. The offerings usually change every six to eight weeks, with new topics available.
United Methodist Women
Membership in United Methodist Women provides opportunities for spiritual growth, Christian Fellowship, and involvement in a variety of mission projects. Membership includes the following: Individual circles (small groups) meet monthly, Large group, total membership meetings three times a year, Monthly program information from our UMW Program book sent via email, Prayer calendar sent monthly with daily mission focus and daily scripture reading.
Bible Studies
FUMC has several opportunities during the week for personal growth through small group Bible studies. Monday Morning Bible Study is a weekly Bible study that meets on Monday mornings at 10:00 am in WES 102 and is for women and men of all ages.
A Monday night group for ladies, meets at 6:00 pm in Wesley 104. Other groups are offered during the year, depending on interest and time considerations.
