Fellowship and Worship!
We want your experience at FUMC Prattville to be great! From amazing kids’ ministries to worship and messages, Sundays at FUMC are a place where you can encounter the life-changing presence of God. Below you will find some helpful information on what to expect when you arrive at a service. We want your visit to feel as comfortable as possible, so be sure to contact us if you should have any questions. Once you arrive, you can also ask one of our greeters in Traditional Worship or our Connectors in Modern Worship on the day you arrive.
Have young children?
Nursery: A nursery is available for children ages 3 and under. One of our greeters will be happy to assist you in locating the nursery.
Children's Church: After the Children's Moment in the Traditional Worship children ages 4-2nd grade are dismissed to join our team of children's worship leaders for Children's Church. With hands-on worship, your kids will have life-changing encounters with God every week through amazing music and unforgettable Bible adventures. The first Sunday of each month, our church celebrates communion and children remain in the worship service with their parents.
What should I wear?
On any given Sunday at FUMC you'll see folks dressed in coats and ties to jeans and t-shirts. In the Traditional Worship service, you'll be more likely to find more traditional church attire. All are welcome! Come as you are.
What are the services like?
Traditional Worship: Our traditional worship services meet each Sunday morning at 9:15 am in Pratt Hall. This service is worshipful, with biblical teaching, typically led by Senior Pastor, Dr. Tony McCullough. You’ll sing songs from the United Methodist Hymnal and enjoy musical selections from the Chancel Choir each week. Our traditional worship services also often include special performances by our handbell choir, children’s choirs and orchestra.
Modern Worship: Our contemporary worship service, meets each Sunday at 11:15 am in Pratt Hall. Ignite is a casual, yet energetic, worship experience, with a biblical message. The Ignite Band leads worship each week, with high energy praise choruses and contemplative worship songs.
